Expression study of Notch signal pathway in lymphocytes of burn infected patients

Abstract：Objective To discuss the role and mechanism of Notch signal pathway regulating lymphocyte of patients with burn infection,to explore the immunology of burn infection and to provide experimental foundation on finding out the potential treatment means.Methods A total of 15 cases of burn infection admitted by the burn department of our hospital from July 2016 to July 2017 were selected as the burn infection group,and 15 healthy subjects who underwent health examination in our hospital during the same period were selected as the control group.Fluorogenic quantitative PCR (real time PCR,RT-PCR)and western blot were used to detect Notch 1 and Notch 2 in peripheral blood lymphocyte (PBL)in the two groups from gene transcription level and protein level.Results mRNA and protein expressions of Notch 1 and Notch 2 in PBL in the burn infection group were significantly higher than that in the control group (P＜0.05).Conclusion After Notch signal pathway of patients with burn infection is activated,it may be related to the antiinflammatory reaction.
