Abstract：Objective To explore the effect of ornidazole root canal paste in the treatment of periapical periodontitis of deciduous teeth.Methods A total of 102 cases of periapical periodontitis of deciduous teeth treated in our hospital from January 2017 to December 2017 were selected as the research object.According to the sequence of admission registration,all the patients were divided into the reference group(51 cases)and the study group(51 cases).The reference group applied the local application of Metronidazole root canal paste,and the study group was given Ornidazole root canal paste local treatment.The total effective rate,percussion score and the incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Results The total effective rate of treatment in the study group was 96.08%,which was significantly higher than that of the reference group (38/51),with significant difference (P＜0.05).The percussion pain score of the study group was significantly lower than that of the reference group,with significant difference (P＜0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions of the study group was 3.92%,which was significantly lower than that of the reference group,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion The treatment of Ornidazole root canal paste for the patients with periapical periodontitis of the deciduous teeth can improve the treatment efficiency,relieve the pain,reduce the incidence of adverse reactions,which have good effect,with high safety factor and good application value.
