Abstract:Objective To study the clinical effect of point-pressing massage of syndrome differentiation of six meridians manipulation in treatment of lumbar disc herniation.Methods Altogether 200 in-patients who were treated in our department from January 2015 to December 2016 were selected and the patients were grouped according to their admission number(double day was treatment group,single day was control group),and there were 100 cases in each group.The treatment group was treated with point-pressing massage with syndrome differentiation of six meridians manipulation,and the control group was treated with general massage manipulation.Clinical effect between the two groups was compared.Results The marked improvement rate and recovery rate of straight leg elevation of the treatment group 1-week after treatment were higher than those of the control group(P<0.05).The total effective rate of the treatment group and the control group was 97.0%and 79.0%respectively,and there was a statistically difference between the two groups(P<0.05).Conclusion Effect of point-pressing massage with syndrome differentiation of six meridians manipulation applied in treatment of lumbar disc herniation is better than ordinary massage therapy.Point-pressing massage with syndrome differentiation of six meridians manipulation in treatment of lumbar disc herniation is of great popularization value.
