Abstract:Objective To explore the clinical value of Vitamin E in the treatment of pelvic pain caused by endometriosis.MethodsAltogether 60 patients with endometriosis and accompanied with pelvic pain who were treated in our hospital from February 2016 to May 2017 were selected as objects and divided into experiment group (n=30)and control group (n=30)according to the simple randomization method.The control group was treated with Drospirenone and Ethinylestradiol Tablets,while the experiment group was treated with Vitamin E on the basis of the control group.The dysmenorrhea scores,intercourse pain scores,pelvic pain scores and adverse reactions after treatment were compared between two groups.Results The scores of dysmenorrhea,intercourse pain and pelvic pain after treatment in two groups were lower than those before treatment,with statistically significant differences (P<0.05).The score of pelvic pain after treatment in the experiment group was significantly lower than that in the control group,with statistically significant difference(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the total incidence of adverse reactions between two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion Application of Vitamin E in the treatment of pelvic pain caused by endometriosis can reduce the patients′symptoms and improve their prognosis.
