Clinical efficacy of gonadotropin-releasing hormone agonist combined with add-back therapy for consolidation treatment after the surgery of endometriosis

Abstract：Objective To study the effect of gonadotropin-releasing hormone agonist(GnRHa)add-back therapy after the surgery of endometriosis.Methods A total of 86 patients with endometriosis who were admitted to the department of gynecology in our hospital from January 2016 to February 2017 were selected as the study subjects.The patients were divided into groups by a complete double-blind method.In the control group,43 patients were given GnRHa treatment，and in the experimental group,43 patients were given GnRHa combined with add-back therapy.The efficacy was evaluated in both groups，and the changes of the levels of serum sex hormones and the occurrence of adverse reactions were observed in both groups.Results①The total effective rate in the experimental group was significantly higher than that in the control group(P＜0.05).②The levels of serum P,LH and FSH in the experimental group were significantly lower than those in the control group，and E2was significantly higher than that in the control group(P＜0.05).③After medication,the two groups showed menopausal symptoms.The incidence rate of hot flashes in the experimental group was significantly lower than that in the control group (P＜0.05)and there was no statistically significant difference in the incidence rate of other symptoms(P＞0.05).Conclusion In the consolidation treatment after the surgery of endometriosis,the curative effect of GnRHa combined with add-back therapy is superior to GnRHa alone,add-back therapy is conducive to stabilizing the level of serum sex hormones,and relieving adverse reactions,which is worthy of being learned from.
