Abstract:Objective To investigate the effectiveness and possible mechanism of Buzhongyiqi Decoction combined with anti-fungal agents treating invasive candidiasis. Methods Sixty male Kunming mice were pretreated with CTX and then injected with Candida albicans suspension in abdominal cavity, the IC mice model was made. After modeled successfully, they were randomly divided into control group(n=30)and experimental group(n=30).Two groups were given antifungal therapy, while mice in the experimental group were given Buzhongyiqi Decoction of 4 g/(kg·d)and the control group was given the same amount of normal saline. The survival rate in the seventh day in the two groups were observed. The expressions of TNF-α,IL-6 and IL-10 in liver tissues and serum of IC mice were detected by ELISA.The expressions of CD3+,CD4+,CD8+and CD4+/CD8+in lymphocyte subsets of IC mice were detected by flow cytometry. Results The survival rate in the seventh day of the experimental group was significantly higher than that of the control group (P<0.05).The expressions of IL-10 in liver tissue and serum of IC mice in the experimental group were significantly lower than those of the control group (P<0.05).There were no significant difference in liver tissue and serum on expressions of TNF-αand IL-6 in IC mice between the two groups (P>0.05).The ratio of CD4+/CD8+in lymphocyte subsets of IC mice in the experimental group were significantly higher than that of the control group (P<0.05).There were no significant difference of CD3+,CD4+and CD8+expressions in lymphocyte subsets of IC mice between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion Buzhongyiqi Decoction combined with anti-fungal agents can improve the survival rate in the seventh day of IC mice, which may be related to the enhancement of cellular immune function and the reduction of immunosuppression.
