Abstract：Primary aldosteronism refers to a syndrome that the adrenocortical lesions lead to increased aldosterone auto-secretion and renin-angiotensin system inhibition,together with hypertension with or without hypokalemia mainly characterized by plasma high aldosterone levels and low renin levels.It is a leading cause for secondary hypertension.The syndrome can be screened by using plasma aldosterone/renin ratio(ARR),adrenal ultrasound,adrenal computed tomography(CT)and enhanced,adrenal magnetic resonance imaging(MRI).The key treatment is actively control of blood pressure and actively potassium supplementation to correct electrolyte imbalances.For aldosteronoma patients,the preferred therapy is total unilateral adrenalectomy or tumor resection under laparoscope.This paper analyzed and summarized the diagnosis and treatment of three patients with hypertensive cerebral hemorrhage caused by primary aldosteronism in order to intensify awareness of the disease,enhance the clinical experience,and guide the clinical diagnosis and treatment.
