Abstract：Objective To investigate the effect of Budesonide combined with Terbutaline Sulfate inhalation therapy for elderly patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.Methods Fifty elderly patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease were selected from July to December 2017.According to the treatment methods,they were divided into control group and observation group,25 cases in each group.All patients were given Budesonide combined with Terbutaline Sulfate Aerosol inhalation therapy,the control group was given ordinary care,the observation group was given comprehensive care.The clinical efficacy of COPD in two groups was compared.Average hospital stay,awareness of COPD etiology,knowledge of medication,compliance behavior score were compared.The pulmonary function indexes FEV1,FVC and FEV1/FVC of patients before and after treatment were compared.Adverse drug reaction rate was also compared.Results The clinical efficacy of the observation group was higher than that of the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).Before treatment,there was no significant difference in pulmonary function between the two groups(P＞0.05).The pulmonary function indexes of FEV1,FVC and FEV1/FVC of the two groups after treatment were significantly better than those before treatment(P＜0.05).After treatment,the pulmonary function indexes of FEV1,FVC and FEV1/FVC in the observation group were better than those in the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).The average length of hospital stay in the observation group was shorter than that in the control group,the awareness of COPD etiology,knowledge of medication and compliance behavior were higher in the observation group than in the control group (P＜0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group was lower than those in the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion The inhalation of Budesonide and Terbutaline Sulfate for the treatment of COPD in the elderly is effective.Supplemented by comprehensive care,it can improve the patient′s disease,medication awareness and compliance behavior,effectively control the condition,relieve bad mood and improve lung Functional and quality of life,reducing adverse drug events,it is worth promoting.
