Abstract:Objective To investigate the effect comparison of Febuxostat and Allopurinol in the treatment of patients with gout and renal insufficiency. Methods From April 2016 to April 2017,100 patients with gout and renal insufficiency who were willing to joint in this study admitted to our hospital were selected as research subjects. They were divided into research group and control group according to the visiting time.In the control group, patients were treated with Allopurinol, and in the research group, participants were provided with Febuxostat. The levels of serum urnic acid and liver and kidney function before and after treatment, and the occurrence of adverse reactions during the treatment were compared in the two groups. Results There was no significant difference in serum urnic acid levels or liver and kidney function levels between the two groups before treatment (P>0.05).Both unic acid levels and liver and kidney function levels were improved after treatment. The blood urnic acid levels in the research group were lower than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05),but there was no great difference in the indicators of liver and kidney functions was displayed between the control group and research group (P>0.05).With regard to the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups, the difference was not significant (P>0.05).Conclusion The efficacy of Febuxostat in the treatment of patients with gout and renal insufficiency is higher compared with that of Allopurinol in higher safety.
