Abstract：Objective To analyze the role Thiazolidinediones on the intima-media thickness and ox-LDL in patients with primary hypertension (PH).Methods 100 patients with PH meeting the standard in our hospital from February 2010 to February 2014 were selected.Patients were divided into two groups:control group (n=50)and treatment group (n=50).All patients were treated with routine antihypertensive and lipid modulating,and treatment group was plused Rosiglitazone 4-8 mg/d,control of blood pressure was in below 140/90 mmHg.The IMT and ox-LDL level of patients were measured in 0,3,6 and 12 months.Results After 3,6 and 12 months treatment,IMT was decreased greatly and ox-LDL level was decreased greatly (P＜0.05).Change of treatment group was obvious compared with control group,and there was a statistical difference (P＜0.05).Conclusion Thiazolidinediones can obviously decrease IMT and ox-LDL level of patients.
