Abstract:ObjectiveTo investigate the effect of laparoscopic surgery in adult patients with inguinal hernia.MethodsA total of 266 cases of inguinal hernia treated in our hospital from January 2012 to January 2017 were selected as the subjects, among them,126 patients were treated with laparoscopic peritoneal prefovement repair were selected as the TAPP group,90 patients with complete peritoneal repair were selected as the TEP group. The operative time, postoperative hospital stay, postoperative VAS score, and complication rate and recurrence rate were compared between the two groups.ResultsThe operation time of the TEP group ([45.5±9.8]min)was shorter than that of the TAPP group ([65.3±10.5]min),the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the hospitalization time between the two groups(P>0.05).There was no significant difference in the VAS scores of the patients at admission and postoperative 24 h between the two groups(P>0.05).The incidence of abnormalities, serum swollen, intestinal paralysis and urinary retention in the TEP group were 5.6%,8.9%,1.1%,8.9%,the incidence of abnormalities, serum swollen, intestinal paralysis and urinary retention in the TAPP group were 8.7%,11.1%,2.4%,11.9%,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The recurrence rate within 6 months after operation in the TEP group was 8.89%,which was higher than that in the TAPP group(3.10%),with significant difference(P<0.05).ConclusionLaparoscopic surgery has obvious curative effect in the treatment of inguinal hernia in adult patients, and the incidence rate of complication and recurrence rate of laparoscopic transabdominal preperitoneal repair are lower.
