ObjectiveTo investigate the bone mineral density(BMD)of middle-aged and old women in Xihu District of Nanchang City, and to explore the incidence and influential factors of osteoporosis(OP)in this district.MethodsA total of 800 middle-aged women who received:health examination in our hospital from January to October in 2016 were enrolled.BMD of the distal one-third of the radius and the ulna in non-dominant forearm was measured using dual energy X-ray absorptiometry (DEXA).Relationship of BMD and age, body mass index (BMI),menopause status, outdoor sports, sunshine, milk drinking and other related factors were analyzed.ResultsThe incidence of OP in 40-49 years old group,50-59 years old group,60-70 years old group were 12.85%,21.72%,30.29%,there was significant difference among each groups(P<0.05).The incidence of OP in low BMI group was 51.11%and in normal BMI group was 15.08%,with significant difference (P<0.05).The incidence of OP in premenopause was 11.88%,which was lower than 27.47%in menopause, with significant difference (P<0.05).The incidence of OP in outdoor sports, sunshine, milk drinking was lower than those no outdoor sports,no sunshine,no milk drinking, with significant difference (P<0.05).ConclusionThe incidence of OP is increased when the age increasing and postmenopausal in middle-aged women.Proper outdoor sports and good lifestyle can slow down BMD.Early intervention prevention and good lifestyle are important to the prevention of OP.
