Abstract:Objective To analyze the clinical effect of Gamma Globulin combined with Methylprednisolone in the treatment of Mycoplasma pneumonia in children.Methods From January 2015 to July 2016,84 children with acute severe Mycoplasma pneumonia in our hospital were selected and randomly divided into the observation group and the control group,42 cases in each group.Regular comprehensive therapies including oxygen uptake,cough and asthma relieving,phlegm expectoration,abatement of fever,liver protection were applied in both groups.Besides,participants in the observation group were treated by Gamma Globulin,Methylprednisolone,and Azithromycin,while in the control group,only Azithromycin was applied.The therapeutic effects of the two groups was compared.Results The total effective rate of the observation group was 92.86%,which was significantly higher than 69.05%of the control group,with significant difference(P<0.05).The time of abating fever,cough disappearing,recovery of chest X-ray,and average hospital stay in the observation group was much shorter than that in the control group,with significant differences(P<0.05).Conclusion Combination of Gamma Globulin and Methylprednisolone in the treatment of children with acute severe Mycoplasma pneumonia can remarkably improve patients′symptoms,which is worthy of clinical application and promotion.
