Abstract:ObjectiveTo investigate the clinical effect of short duration occlusion combined with Atropine in the treatment of children with diatric amblyopia.Methods91 cases of children with amblyopia who treated in our hospital from February 2015 to July 2016 were selected as the research subjects, and were devided into two groups according to different treatment methods. The control group (40 cases)were treated with short-term occlusion, while the observation group (51 cases)were treated with short-term occlusion combined with Atropine. The treatment effect, visual acuity and treatment compliance of two groups were compared.ResultsThe total effective rate in the observation group was 92.16%,which was higher than that in the control group of 75.00%,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Before the treatment, there was no significant difference in visual acuity between the two groups (P>0.05).After treatment for 6,9 and 12 months, the visual acuity in the observation group were better than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The treatment compliance in the observation group was 94.12%,compared with the control group of 77.50%,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).ConclusionThe short-term occlusion combined with Atropine are better than that the short-term duration occlusion in the treatment of children with amblyopia, which can promote the improvement of vision of children, and it have high compliance of children, thus it is worthy to be promoted in the clinical.
