Abstract:ObjectiveTo investigate the clinical application effect of mini self tapping titanium implant anchorage.MethodsFrom February 2014 to January 2016,60 cases of adult biomaxillary protrusion who treated in orthodontics department of our hospital were selected as subjects and divided into the observation group and the control group according to the random number table method,30 cases in each group. The control group was treated with extraoral arch anchorage, and the observation group was treated with mini self tapping titanium implant anchorage. The correction effect, the treatment adherence and the change of SNA,SNB index before and after dental treatment were compared between the two groups.ResultsAll patients were successfully completed dental treatment and were reached the classⅠrelationship of molar. The successful rate of planting in the observation group was 96.7%.The compliance of the observation group during dental treatment was 96.7%,while the compliance was 76.7%in the control group, the index in the observation group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The decrease of the SNA angle in the observation group was[(0.42±0.33)°],while the decrease of the SNA angle in the control group was[(0.24±0.14)°],and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).ConclusionThe clinical application of mini self tapping titanium implant anchorage has better anchorage effect, and the orthodontic treatment has higher success rate and increase the compliance,so it deserves clinical promotion.
