Abstract:Objective To observe the effect of silver ion antibacterial functional dressing combined with compound tung leaf burn oil and Sulfadiazine Cream on diabetic foot. Methods From June 2014 to April 2016,62 patients with diabetic foot ulcer in our outpatient clinics and inpatient department were selected. They were divided into three groups based on a random number table, treatment group 1(n=20),treatment group 2(n=21),and control group(n=21).In the treatment group 1,on the basis of conventional treatment, compound tung leaf burn oil and Sulfadiazine Cream were applied. In the treatment group 2,on the basis of conventional treatment, silver ion antibacterial functional dressing combined with compound tung leaf burn oil and Sulfadiazine Cream was provided. On the control group,on the basis of conventional treatment, regular surgical dressing change was used. The effect on diabetic foot among three groups was observed. Results In treatment group 2,the area reduction of ulcer and granulation coverage were both significantly higher than those in the treatment group 1 and the control group (P<0.05).The difference was also displayed between the treatment group 1 and the control group (P<0.05).The cure rate in the treatment group 2 was significantly higher than that in the treatment group 1 and the control group (P<0.05).The cure rate in the treatment group 1 was greatly higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The silver ion antibacterial functional dressing combined with compound tung leaf burn oil and sulfadiazine cream can improve the curative effect on diabetic foot.
