Abstract:ObjectiveTo explore the effects of Epalrestat combined with Berberine in treating diabetic foot.Methods62 diabetic foot patients from June 2015 to June 2016 in our hospital were selected and randomly divided into the observation group and the control group, each group was 31 cases. Two groups were given Epalrestat on the basis of general treatment, the observation group was further given Berberine. The effect and ABPI of the two groups were compared before and after treatment.ResultsThe total effective rate of the observation group was 100.0%,which was significantly higher than 87.1%of the control group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference between the two groups in the ABPI value before treatment(P>0.05).The ABPI value of the two groups after treatment was significantly higher than that before treatment, and the ABPI value of the observation group after treatment was significantly higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).ConclusionUsing Epalrestat combined with Berberine in treating diabetic foot can obvious enhance the clinical cure rate of diabetic foot and it is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
