Influence factor analysis of cardiac complications during non-cardiac surgery perioperative period in patients with metabolic syndrome

Abstract:ObjectiveTo explore the influencing factors of cardiac complications during non-cardiac surgery perioperative period in patients with metabolic syndrome,and to provide reference for the prevention of postoperative complications.MethodsFrom January 2012 to December 2015,265 patients with metabolic syndrome but without cardiac surgeries admitted into our hospital were selected as research objects.The incidence rate of cardiac complications during non-cardiac surgery perioperative period was observed and calculated,they were divided into the complication group and the non-complication group,the influence of clinical data,operation condition and other factors on complications were observed in the two groups.Logistic regression analysis was used to analyze the related influencing factors,and to explore the potential risk factors of complications.ResultsComplications of 30 cases occurred in 265 patients during the perioperative period,and the incidence rate was 11.32%.The principal complications were arrhythmia (11 cases),angina pectoris(9 cases),myocardial infarction(6 cases),and low cardiac output syndrome(4 cases).Logistic multivariate regression analysis displayed age,operation time and type,and grade of cardiac function were the main risk factors of cardiac complications during non-cardiac surgery perioperative period in patients with metabolic syndrome.ConclusionThe incidence of complications during non-cardiac surgery perioperative period in patients with metabolic syndrome is closely related with patient′s age,operation method,surgical time,and grade of cardiac function.Young age,minimal-invasion surgery,shortened surgical time,and great cardiac function can decrease the incidence of cardiac function and also provide reference for the prevention of cardiac complications.
