The clinical effect of Deer Blood Crystal preventing leucopenia of patients with NSCLC after chemotherapy

Abstract：ObjectiveTo observe the influence of Deer Blood Crystal on the curative effect and quality of life of leukopenia in patients with NSCLC after chemotherapy.Methods80 cases with NSCLC treated firstly by the envelope method from January 2015 to December 2016 were randomly divided into study group and control group,and there were 40 cases in each group.The study group was treated with GP chemotherapy combined with Deer Blood Crystal treatment while the control group was not given Deer Blood Crystal during GP chemotherapy.The change of white blood cell,the usage dose of rhG-CSF,quality of life score and adverse reactions in the two groups were observed.ResultsThere were 8 cases (20.0%)withⅢ～Ⅳ grade leucopenia in the study group which was lower than that of the control group[11 cases (27.5%)],but the difference was not statistically significant(P＞0.05).The duration time of leukopenia after chemotherapy in the study group was shorter compared with the control group,but the difference was not statistically significant(P＞0.05).The usage dose of rhG-CSF in the study group was significantly reduced compared with the control group,and the difference of more than 5 branches was statistically significant(P＜0.05).The quality of life score in the study group score was higher than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence rate of adverse reactions such as thrombocytopenia,hemoglobin reduction,abnormal liver and kidney function,phlebitis and electrocardiogram change in the study group and the control group(P＞0.05).ConclusionDeer Blood Crystal can prevent the occurrence of leucopenia in patients with NSCLC after chemotherapy,improve the quality of life,but it also needs to be expanded the cases for further clinical research to confirm.
