Effect study of super-selective interventional chemotherapy combined w ith radiotherapy in inhibition of residual cell after brain glioma surgery

Abstract:ObjectiveTo analyze the efficacy of super-selective interventional chemotherapy combined with radiotherapy in inhibition of residual cell after brain glioma surgery.M ethodsAltogether 52 patientswith cerebral gliomawho underwent tumor resection from January 2014 to January 2016 treated in our hospitalwere selected and divided into observation group(n=28)and control group(n=24)according to the principle of voluntary admission.Patients of observation group were treated with super-selective interventional chemotherapy combined with radiotherapy,while patients of control group were treated with systematic radiotherapy combined with chemotherapy.The therapeutic effect between the two groups was compared.ResultsThe curative effect of observation group was significantly better than that of control group(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups had no statistically significant difference(P>0.05).The prognosis of patients of observation group was significantly better than that of control group (P<0.05).The Karnofsky score of observation group[(71.78±4.83)points]was significantly higher than that of control group[(59.93±5.17)points],with statistically significant difference between the two groups(P<0.05).ConclusionSuper-selective interventional chemotherapy combined with radiotherapy can effectively inhibit and eliminate residual cells after brain glioma resection,and the prognosis effect is better.
