Abstract:ObjectiveTo explore the application of comfort nursing intervention in elderly patients with chronic heart failure.MethodsA total of 114 elderly patients with chronic heart failure in our hospital from May 2014 to May 2015 were selected and were randomly divided into the observation group and the control group,with 57 cases in each group.The control group was given routine nursing care,while the observation group was given comfort nursing intervention on the basis of the control group.The bedridden time,hospitalization time,nursing satisfaction,clinical efficacy and quality of life were compared between two groups.ResultsThe bedridden time and hospitalization time in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group,the nursing satisfaction and clinical efficacy were higher than those in the control group,the scores of physical function,role physical,general health,vitality,role emotional and psychological health were higher than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).There were no significant differences in the scores of body pain and social function between two groups(P>0.05).ConclusionIt is worthy to be used in clinical intervention to improve the patients′clinical curative effect and improve the quality of life of elderly patients with chronic heart failure.
