Abstract：Objectives To investigate the depression，coping style and social support of caregivers of first class relatives of schizophrenia.Methods218 cases from January 2015 to June 2016 in our hospital with the self rating Depression Scale(SDS)of the first-degree relatives of schizophrenia caregivers were assessed in accordance with the non depression divided into depression group and non depression group by medical coping questionnaire(MCMQ)and social support rating scale (SSRS)of the two groups take care of the control measure.ResultsA total of 218 patients completed the study,including 84 cases of non depression group,depression group 134 cases,the incidence of depression in depression group 48.2%;social support score,subjective support and utilization of support was lower than that in the non depression group,the difference was statistically significant(t=2.631,3.754,5.315,P＜0.01),objective support the factor scores of the two groups were not statistically different(t=1.101,P＞0.05);the TCSQ score of depression group negative coping scores were higher than the non depression group,positive coping scores were lower than the non depression group,the difference was statistically significant(t=3.608,3.580,P＜0.05).ConclusionThe incidence of depression among caregivers of first-degree relatives of schizophrenia is higher,and more negative coping styles are adopted.
