Abstract：ObjectiveTo explore the clinical therapeutic effect of leukotriene antagonist combined with inhalation of seretide in elderly patients with asthma.MethodsA total of 120 elderly patients(85 in male and 35 in female)visited our hospital from January 2015 to February 2017 were selected as research objects.By a random number table,these participants were evenly divided into control group and treatment group,60 cases in each group.In the control group,inhalation of Seretide was used,while leukotriene antagonist combined with inhalation of Seretide was adopted for the treatment.The clinical effect in the two groups was compared.ResultsAfter therapy,certain effect was obtained in both groups.However,compared with the control group,the scores of FEV1,FVC,and PEF were higher as well as IL-12 in the treatment group.The IL-13 was in great decrease in the treatment group.In comparison of the control group,the scores of asthma,psychologicalstatus,self-care,andactivity limited were much better and with statistical differences(P＜0.05).Conclusion The combination of leukotriene antagonist and inhalation of Seretide in the treatment of elderly patients with asthma can improve pulmonary function,weaken the inflammatory mediators,enhance the quality of life with a great effect,which is worthy of great promotion and application in clinic.
