Abstract:ObjectiveTo investigate the clinical efficacy of concurrent chemoradiotherapy in the treatment of advanced cervical cancer.Methods32 patients with advanced cervical cancer treated in our hospital from April 2010 to December 2011 were selected. They were randomly divided into the experimental group and the control group,16 cases in each group. The experimental group was treated with concurrent chemoradiotherapy, while the control group was treated with radiotherapy alone. The clinical effect,5 years survival rate, recurrence rate and distant metastasis rate were compared between the two groups.ResultsThe effective rate,5 years survival rate, recurrence rate and distant metastasis rate of the experimental group were 93.75%,62.50%,18.75%,12.50%respectively,the control group were 68.75%,37.50%,12.50%, 25.00%,there was significant diffence between the two groups (P<0.05).ConclusionConcurrent chemoradiotherapy in the treatment of advanced cervical cancer has a significant effect, which is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
