Abstract：Objective To exp1ore the c1inica1 effect of trimetazidine on treating diabetic patients with coronary heart disease.Methods From June 2012 to June 2014,72 patients with diabetes me11itus and coronary heart disease admitted into our hospita1 were se1ected as research objects.They were random1y divided into experimenta1 group and contro1 group.In the contro1 group,conventiona1 symptomatic treatment was used,whi1e in the experimenta1 group,on the basis of the contro1 group,trimetazidine was added.The c1inica1 efficacy and changes of b1ood g1ucose and cardiac function before and after treatment were compared in the two groups.Results The c1inica1 therapeutic effective rate in the experimenta1 group was 94.4％,whi1e the rate in the contro1 group was 72.2％.The therapeutic effective rate in the experimenta1 group was much higher than that of contro1 group with a statistica1 difference（P＜0.05）.In comparison with that in the contro1 group after treatment,there was no obvious difference in b1ood g1ucose after treatment（P＞0.05）,but the difference in cardiac function was statistica1（P＜0.05）.Conclusion In the treatment of diabetes me11itus and CHD by conventiona1 symptomatic drugs,additiona1 app1ication of trimetazidine can great1y improve patient′s cardiac function as we11 as myocardia1 contraction with a remarkab1e c1inica1 effect,which is worthy of expansion in c1inic.
