Abstract:ObjectiveTo explore the detection results and meaning for 14 kinds of food intolerance of recurrent respiratory tract infection children patients in outpatient and to provide new laboratory reference for etiological diagnosis, prevention and treatment for recurrent respiratory tract infection.Methods72 children with recurrent respiratory tract infection treated by pediatric outpatient in our hospital from September 2013 to September 2014 were selected and were selected as experimental group.90 healthy children from child health clinic of our hospital were selected as control group.14 kinds of food intolerance detection (food allergen specific IgG antibody)were conducted in two groups and statistical analysis was conducted.Diet control and regular follow up were adopted according to examination results. The improvement situation of recurrent respiratory tract infection morbidity after diet control was observed.ResultsThe total positive rate of serum food specific IgG antibody in experimental group (63.9%)was higher than that in health control group(32.2%)and the difference between two groups was statistical significance(P<0.01).In the experimental group,46 cases of food specific IgG positive children were followed up for one year after diet control, there was no recurrent respiratory infection occurred in 29 children.ConclusionOutpatient recurrent respiratory tract infection has relationship with food intolerance.Diet control can decrease the morbidity of recurrent respiratory tract infection.Food intolerance detection has positive clinical value in prevention and treatment of recurrent respiratory tract infection in children.
