Abstract：ObjectiveTo explore the preventive effect of Pantoprazole injury complicated with stress ulcer in patients with acute severe traumatic brain.Methods162 patients with acute severe craniocerebral injury form January 2011 to December 2015 in our hospital were selected and divided into Cimetidine group and Pantoprazole group,81 cases in each group.Two groups of patients were given oxygen,dehydration of intracraninal pressure,control of blood pressure,nutrishing brain cell,prevention of infection maintain water and electrolyte balance and other support treatment,it is necessary to patients with indwelling gastric tube,continuous gastrointestinal decompression.The Cimetidine group was given cimetidine in prevention of stress ulcer on the basis of routine treatment,the Pantoprazole group was given Pantoprazole with the prevention of stress ulcer on the basis of routine treatment.The changes of gastric acid pH and the incidence of stress ulcer were analyzed and compared between the two groups.ResultsAfter treatment of Cimetidine group and Pantoprazole group were significantly compared with admission,the pH value of gastric juice increased,the difference was significant(P＜0.05),and the Pantoprazole group in the pH value of gastric juice before and after eating was more stable than that of Cimetidine group.Pantoprazole group of stress ulcer incidence compared with Cimetidine group decreased significantly (P＜0.05).ConclusionPantoprazole sustained inhibition of gastric acid secretion,increased acid pH,protect gastric mucosa,the incidence rate of injury can prevent stress ulcer complicated with acute severe traumatic brain.
