Abstract:Objective To discuss the difference of acoustic radiation force impulse(ARFI)in measurement of different sites of kidney by an approach perpendicular to renal capsule.M ethods 116 kidneys of 58 healthy volunteers examined in our hospital from March 2015 to January 2016 were given VTQ measurement of the cortex,medulla and sinus of kidney at upper,middle lower poles by an approach perpendicular to the renal capsule.The results were analyzed. Results By an approach perpendicular to the renal capsule,the variance analysis on SWV values of cortex,medulla and sinus of kidney at upper,middle and lower poles showed no significant difference(P>0.05).Conclusion The selection of measurement sites has little impacton the result of ARFI.
