Abstract:ObjectiveTo explore the CT characteristics of renal angiomyolipomas with minimal fat, thereby improving the understanding of this syndrome.MethodsThe CT findings of 13 cases of renal angiomyolipoma with minimal fat confirmed by surgery and pathology in our hospital from March 2011 to October 2016 were analyzed retrospectively.ResultsIn this group of cases,9 lesions were nearly-circular or round;9 lesions showed exophytic growth;8 lesions showed the"V"angle sign with the junction of renal parenchyma junction;"Cup"change was detected with 2 lesions;slightly high density was found with 8 lesions;homogeneous enhancement was found with 8 lesions at renal parenchymal phase;6 lesions showed obvious enhancement,3 lesions showed moderate enhancement,4 lesions showed mild enhancement.Dynamic enhancement in 9 lesions was prolonged.ConclusionCT manifestations of renal angiomyolipomas with minimal fat have certain features.Aside from CT density, morphological characteristics, growth pattern, enhancement level and enhancement pattern of the symptom are helpful for the diagnosis.
