Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of programmed health education on anxiety, postoperative pain and satisfaction of patients undergoing general surgery. Methods From June 2019 to November 2020, 52 patients in the Department of General Surgery of the First People′s Hospital of Ji′an City were selected as the research objects and divided into the observation group and the control group according to the single and even number method, with 26 cases in each group. The control group was given routine nursing, and the observation group was given programmed health education on the basis of the control group. The anxiety, pain and satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results After intervention, the Hamilton anxiety scale (HAMA) score and McGill pain score in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). The total nursing satisfaction of the observation group (100.00%) was higher than that of the control group (76.92%), and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion The implementation of programmed health education in patients with general surgery can significantly alleviate or eliminate the anxiety of patients, improve the pain of surgical treatment, and improve the nursing satisfaction of patients.
