Abstract: Objective To analyze the application value of post-abortion care (PAC) in the nursing of threatened abortion patients. Methods A total of 400 cases threatened abortion patients admitted to Jiangxi Maternal and Child Health Hospital from January 2019 to June 2020 were selected as research subjects. They were divided into the observation group and the control group by the random number table method, 200 cases in each group. Patients in the observation group were provided with PAC and routine care was used for the patients in the control group. The patients′ satisfaction, outcome of fetus protection, hospital stay, and score of negative emotions were compared between the two groups. Results The total satisfaction of patients in the observation group after nursing was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The success rate of fetus preservation after nursing in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, with statistical difference (P<0.05). The hospital stay in the observation group was shorter than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).The pain score of the observation group after nursing was lower than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The negative emotion score of the observation group was lower than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion Compared with routine care, PAC intervention for patients can reduce the probability of patients presenting with anxiety, shorten the hospital stay, and the outcome of maternal fetal preservation is good, which can increase the satisfaction of patients with care and is worthy of promotion.
