Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of comprehensive temperature-holding measures on perioperative body temperature, postoperative recovery and adverse events in patients undergoing gynecological surgeries. Methods Ninety-six patients undergoing gynecological surgeries admitted to Zhongshan Bo′ai Hospital,Guangdong Province from February 2019 to April 2020 were selected as the research subjects. They were divided into the control group(n=48)and the observation group(n=48)according to the random number table method. In the control group, routine heat preservation care was used, and in the observation group, comprehensive temperature-holding measure was adopted. The body temperature, postoperative recovery indicators, and total incidence of adverse events were compared between the two groups. Results There was no significant difference in body temperature between the two groups when entering the operation room(P>0.05).The body temperature of the observation group was(36.48±0.47)℃at the end of the operation, higher than that of the control group of(36.12±0.35)℃,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The time of postoperative spontaneous breathing, awakening, extubation, peristalsis, and hospital stay were(15.28±3.61),(24.63±4.13),(27.28±4.47)min,(14.28±3.62)h,(5.67±1.23)d,shorter than those of the control group of(19.04±3.33),(29.55±4.06),(34.34±4.69)min,(19.42±3.51)h,and(7.30±1.55)d,with statistical differences(P<0.05).The total incidence of adverse events in the observation group was 4.16%,lower than that of the control group accounting for 18.75%,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Comprehensive temperature-holding measures can effectively maintain the perioperative body temperature of patients undergoing gynecological surgeries, shorten the time of awakening from anesthesia and extubation, reduce the incidence of adverse events such as chills and restlessness, and speed up the recovery process after surgery.
