Abstract:Objective To investigate the prevalence of TORCH infection in infertile women. Methods Serum samples of 7383 infertile women from January 2017 to December 2019 were collected in the Women and Children′s Hospital Affiliated to Xiamen University, and the TORCH-IgM antibody was detected by chemiluminescence method. Results The positive rate of TORCH-IgM in infertile women was 12.66%.The positive rates of herpes simplex virus IgM,rubella virus IgM, cytomegalovirus IgM and Toxoplasma gondii IgM were 10.89%, 1.22%, 0.39% and 0.16%, respectively. The positive rate of herpes simplex virus IgM was higher than that of rubella virus, cytomegalovirus and Toxoplasma gondii, and the positive rate of herpes simplex virus IgM in 2019 was higher than that of 2017 and 2018, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).The positive rate of TORCH-IgM in different seasons was statistically significant (P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the positive rate of TORCH-IgM among different age groups(P>0.05).Conclusion There is a certain percentage of TORCH infection among infertile women. It is necessary to strengthen the screening and monitoring of TORCH infection in such population, so as to achieve prevention and early intervention and improve the quality of newborn population.
