Abstract:Objective To explore the clinical effect of the family group-based pregnancy care service model dominated by midwives applied to pregnant women.Methods Retrospective analysis of the data on the 120 primiparas who were admitted to Dongguan Songshan Lake Central Hospital from January 2019 to December 2019 was made and divided into the observation group (60 cases) and the control group (60 cases) according to the pregnancy health care model.The control group participated in regular pregnancy checkups,school education for pregnant women,and WeChat groups for pregnant women schools.The observation group received family group-based pregnancy health care services led by midwives.The weight control,neonatal weight and cesarean section rate were compared between the two groups.Results The weight at 28 weeks of pregnancy,weight before delivery and the weekly gain during the third trimester of the observation group were lower than those of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).The weight of the newborn in the observation group was lower than that in the control group,the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).The rate of cesarean section in the observation group was lower than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion The family group-based pregnancy health care service model dominated by midwives has a significant effect when applied to pregnant women.It can effectively manage the weight of pregnant women and newborns and improve the outcome of maternal and child.It is worthy of attention and promotion.
