Abstract:Objective To investigate the effects of continuous rehabilitation care on postoperative functional recovery and activities of daily living in patients with complex hand trauma. Methods Eighty patients with complicated hand trauma admitted to Guangdong Work Injury Rehabilitation Hospital,between February 2017 and December 2018 were selected as study subjects and divided into control group (n=40) and study (n=40) group according to the random number table method. The control group adopted conventional nursing methods,and the research group added continuous rehabilitation nursing methods on the basis of conventional nursing methods. Ability of daily living(ADL) and complications (muscle atrophy,scar contracture,joint stiffness,tendon rupture or adhesion). Results The total incidence of complications in the study group was lower than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05). There was no significant difference in hand function and ADL before nursing between the two groups (P>0.05). The hand function and ADL of the two groups of patients after nursing were better than those of this group before nursing,and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). The hand function and ADL of the study group after nursing were better than those of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion Patients with complicated hand trauma receive continuous rehabilitation care,which may reduce complications and benefit the recovery of hand function of patients after surgery,and it is worth promoting the application.
