Abstract:Objective To observe the clinical effect of electroacupuncture combined with Dong′s unique extra-ordinary points in the treatment of stroke hemiplegia. Methods From January 2020 to February 2021,a total of 54 patients with hospitalized stroke in the Department of Rehabilitation,Chronic Disease Prevention Hospital of Qingyuan were selected as the research objects, and divided into the treatment group(27 cases)and the control group(27 cases)according to the random number table method. The control group was treated with electroacupuncture, and the treatment group was treated with electroacupuncture combined with Dong′s unique extra-ordinary points. After 3 weeks of treatment,Fugl-Meyer activity function(FMA),modified barthel index(MBI)score and manual muscle test(MMT)grades were compared between the two groups, and the clinical efficacy was evaluated. Results The total effective rate of the treatment group was higher than that of the control group, with statistically significant difference(P<0.05).There were no significant differences in FMA,MBI scores and MMT grade between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05).After treatment, the FMA,MBI scores and MMT grade of both groups were higher than those before treatment in the groups, and the FMA,MBI scores and MMT grade of the treatment group were higher than those of the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The effect of electroacupuncture combined with Dong′s unique extra-ordinary points in the treatment of stroke hemiplegia is better than the simple electroacupuncture treatment.
