Application of standardized training in improving clinical work ability of newly-employed nurses

Abstract:Objective To explore the application effect of standardized training in improving the clinical work ability of newly-employed nurses.Methods A total of 110 newly recruited nurses in Ciyun Hospital of Jieyang City from June 2018 to August 2019 were selected as the research subjects and divided into control group(55 nurses)and research group(55 nurses)according to random number table method.The control group was trained by traditional distributed teaching mode,while the research group was trained by centralized training and post rotation according to the requirements of Standardized Training Outline for New Nurses(Trial).The theoretical knowledge assessment scores,operational skills assessment scores and post competence scores of the two groups were compared in one year.Results The results of theoretical knowledge examination,operational skills examination and the total score of post competence of the research group were higher than those of the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Standardized training is a scientific,standardized,practical and comprehensive on-the-job training means,which can effectively improve the clinical work ability of new nurses.
