Abstract:Objective To analyze the effect of applying Green model in the protection education process of operating room nurses on the protection of electrosurgical smoke. Methods A total of 22 operating room nurses who worked in Fujian Provincial Jinshan Hospital from January to September 2020 were selected as observation objects, and they were divided into two groups by computer randomization method, with 11 cases in each group. The control group received conventional protection education, and the experimental group received Green model protection education. The protection awareness, protection attitude and protection behavior of the two groups before and after intervention were analyzed. Results After intervention, the items protection awareness of the smoke source, smoke composition, impact on health and protective measures scores in the experimental group were(26.89±2.45),(8.84±1.22),(13.24±1.05),(17.77±2.35)points,all higher than those in the control group of(20.11±2.47),(6.11±1.26),(11.23±1.33),(14.90±2.65)points,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).There was statistically significant difference in the protective attitude of the operating room between the two groups after intervention(P<0.05).There was statistically significant difference in the protective behavior of the operating room between the two groups after intervention(P<0.05).Conclusion Applying the Green model to promote the protection of electrosurgery smoke for nurses in the operating room is obvious, which can improve the awareness and recognition of electrosurgery smoke protection by operating room nurses,so as to actively take effective protective measures.
