Abstract:Objective To explore the application of SBAR communication mode in the transfer and handover of emergency ICU patients. Methods A total of 80 cases of critically ill patients with emergency ICU transfer handover in Zhongshan Southern District Hospital in Guangdong Province from March 2019 to July 2020 were selected and divided into the observation group(40 cases)and the control group(40 cases)according to the random number table method. The control group was transferred by oral handover and filling in the ordinary handover form;the transfer handover was observed by SBAR communication mode, and the handover effect of the two groups was compared. Results The total incidence of adverse nursing events in the observation group was 7.50%,lower than 25.00% in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of unclear nurse handover problems in the observation group was 5.00%,lower than 27.50% in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The patients′total satisfaction with nursing in the observation group was 97.5%,higher than that of the control group of 60.00%,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The average transfer time of the observation group was(4.18±0.51)min shorter than the control group of(12.01±0.70)min,the difference was statistically significant(t=57.178,P<0.05).Conclusion The application of SBAR in the transfer of patients can reduce the incidence of adverse events and reduce the incidence of adverse events.
