Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of non-nutritive sucking combined with three-step prone position intervention in premature infants with feeding intolerance. Methods A total of 60 cases of premature infants with feeding intolerance admitted to Yingde People′s Hospital from February 2018 to June 2020 were retrospectively analyzed.Among them,30 children admitted from February 2018 to August 2019 who did not perform non-nutritive sucking combined with three-step prone intervention were the control group, and another 30 children admitted from September 2019 to June 2020 who performed non-nutritive sucking combined with three-step prone position intervention were the study group. The symptoms of feeding intolerance, feeding indexes, hospitalization time, growth and development indexes were compared between the two groups. Results The incidence of vomiting, abdominal distention, apnea and gastric retention in the study group of 6.67%,3.33%,3.33%,10.00%,respectively,lower than those in the observation group of 26.67%,30.00%,26.67%,33.33%,and the time of opening the milk, the time of reaching the total enteral feeding time and the time of stay were all shorter than those in the control group, birth weight, head circumference at the 14th day were all higher than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion Non-nutritive sucking combined with three-step prone position can improve the feeding intolerance symptoms of preterm infants, promote gastrointestinal functional maturity, improve feeding status, promote their growth and development, shorten the hospitalization time and benefit the prognosis of children.
