Applied value of serum bilirubin and uric acid test in the diagnosis of coronary heart disease

Abstract：Objective To explore the applied value of serum bilirubin and uric acid test in the diagnosis of coronary heart disease.Methods A total of 53 patients with coronary heart disease admitted to the Department of Cardiology of Pudong Hospital from June 2017 to June 2018 were selected as the study group, and 50 healthy persons who received health examination in the same period were selected as the reference group.Serum bilirubin and uric acid levels were measured in both groups.Serum bilirubin and uric acid levels were compared between the two groups.In addition, according to the results of coronary angiography in the study group, Gensini integral was calculated and divided into Gensini integral ≤1 points, Gensini integral >1-20 points, Gensini integral >20-40 points and Gensini integral > 40 points, 4 grades.The levels of serum bilirubin and uric acid in patients with different Gensini scores were compared.Results The levels of serum total bilirubin, direct bilirubin and indirect bilirubin in the study group were lower than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).The level of uric acid in the study group was higher than that in the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).The levels of total bilirubin, direct bilirubin, indirect bilirubin and uric acid in patients with Gensini score of different grades in the study group were significantly different, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05), the serum bilirubin, direct bilirubin and indirect bilirubin levels in the study group decreased with the increase of Gensini score, while uric acid levels increased with the increase of Gensini score.Conclusion Detection of serum bilirubin and uric acid levels is not only beneficial to the diagnosis of patients, but also can provide reference for the severity of patients′ condition, which has important clinical value.
