Abstract:Objective To investigate the effect of Nasal Irrigation Solution for chronic sinusitis without nasal polyps after nasal endoscopic surgery. Methods Sixty chronic sinusitis patients without nasal polyps admitted to our hospital from February to December in 2017 were selected as subjects. They were divided into control group and observation group by the random number table method, with 30 patients in each group. In the control group, patients were provided with normal saline washing the affected nasal cavity after surgery, while in the observation group, patients were treated by nasal endoscopy, after that, Nasal Irrigation Solution was adopted in clinical treatment. The visual analogue scale(VAS), Lund-Kennedy total score, total therapeutic effect, and adverse reactions of the two groups were observed, the effect of Nasal Irrigation Solution for chronic sinusitis without nasal polyps after nasal endoscopic surgery was analyzed. Results The total score of Lund-Kennedy in the observation group was (9.02±1.83) points, lower than that in the control group of (14.41±2.44) points, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).After treatment, the VAS score of the observation group was (2.69±1.37) points, and the total incidence of adverse reactions was 6.67%, both lower than the VAS score [(3.88±1.54) points] and the total incidence of adverse reactions (30.00%) in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).The total effectiveness rate of the observation group was 96.67%,higher than that of the control group (80.00%), the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion Nasal Irrigation Solution for chronic sinusitis without nasal polyps after nasal endoscopic surgery can remarkably improve the therapeutic effect, relieve symptoms with mild adverse reactions, which is worthy of clinical promotion.
