Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of the cutaneous branch of distal palm-back artery flap in repairing soft tissue defects of fingers. Methods A total of 62 patients with finger soft tissue defect accepted in our hospital from March 2015 to March 2016 were selected as the subjects, and randomly divided into two groups, with 31 cases in each group. The control group received lateral flap repair, and the observation group received dorsal metacarpal artery flap repair. The clinical effects of the two groups were compared. Results The operation time and healing time of the observation group were shorter than those of the control group, the amount of bleeding was less than that of the control group, and total incidence of complications of the observation group were lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).The healing rate, survival rate,TAM hand function score, mental health score and social function score of the observation group were higher than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in body pain score between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion The cutaneous branch of distal palm-back artery flap has significant effect in repairing soft tissue defects of fingers, and it is worthy of clinical promotion.
