Abstract:Objective To observe clinical effect of low-frequency sparse-dense wave combined with Jiegu Qili Tablets in treatment of lumbar vertebral compression fractures (LVCF). Methods Fifty patients with osteoporotic LVCF who were admitted to our hospital from April 2017 to April 2019 were enrolled. According to random number table method, they were divided into control group and observation group,25 cases in each group. The control group was treated with Jiegu Qili Tablets, while observation group was additionally treated with low-frequency sparse-dense wave. The curative effect of both groups after treatment was observed. The changes in scores of visual analogue scale (VAS),bone mineral density (BMD) and levels of bone metabolism indexes before and after treatment were compared. Results After treatment, the total effective rate of the observation group was 92.00%,which was higher than 68.00% of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). After treatment, the VAS scores of both groups were lower than those before treatment, and the observation group was lower than the control group, the bone mineral density levels of both groups were higher than those before treatment, and the observation group was higher than the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). After treatment, the levels of type Ⅰprocollagen carboxyterminal pro-peptide (PⅠCP),osteocalcin (BPG) and bone alkaline phosphatase (BALP) of in the two groups were higher than those before treatment, and the levels in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion Low-frequency sparse-dense wave combined with Jiegu Qili Tablets can effectively alleviate pain in patients with osteoporotic LVCF,and accelerate bone healing.
