Abstract:Objective To discuss the influence of remote ischemic preconditioning (RIPC) on the prognosis of patients with cerebral infarction. Methods A total of 104 cerebral infarction patients treated in our hospital from January 2015 to January 2016 were selected as the research objects.Patients were divided into the observation group and the control group according to the computer random method, 52 cases in each group.Patients in the observation group received conventional drug therapy combined with RIPC nursing intervention, and patients in the control group received conventional nursing+drug therapy. The national institutes of health stroke scale (NIHSS) scores of the two groups of patients before and after intervention were evaluated, and the cerebral ischemia recurrence rate, quality of life score, and total satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results There was no significant difference in NIHSS score between the two groups of patients before intervention (P>0.05).After intervention, the NIHSS score of the observation group was lower than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Among patients in the observation group, 1 case (1.92%) of cerebral ischemia recurred confirmed by cranial magnetic resonance examination 6 months after attack, and 8 cases (15.38%) in the control group. The recurrence rate of cerebral ischemia in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).After 6 months of intervention, the physical function, social function, mental health, energy and general health status scores of the observation group were higher than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).The total satisfaction of patients in the observation group (96.15%) was higher than that in the control group (65.38%), and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion The implementation of RIPC can effectively improve the prognosis of patients with cerebral infarction, improve the life quality of patients, and reduce the risk of cerebral ischemia recurrence.
