Abstract:[Abstract]Objective To explore the effect of new standard forceps production assisted delivery on maternal and child outcomes. Methods Eighty women with maternal delivery assisted by the second stage of labor in our hospital from March 2017 to March 2019 were selected as the research subjects. They were divided into observation groups(40 cases)and the reference group(40 cases). The old standard obstetric forceps were used in the reference group,in the observation group, the new standard obstetric forceps was used.Transit cesarean section rate, incidence of postpartum complication and neonatal adverse outcomes and Apgar score between two groups were compared. Results The rate of cesarean section in the observation group was higher than that in the reference group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Total incidence of postpartum complications and neonatal adverse events(intrauterine asphyxia, pneumonia, hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy,etc.),1min Apgar score of newborn, showed no statistically significant differences in the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion After the new standard of labor process, the production of forceps will not increase the adverse outcome of the mother and child, but may increase the rate of cesarean section.
