Observation of effect of Lactobacillus Complex Capsules on diarrhea predominant irritable bowel syndrome

Abstract：ObjectiveTo observe the feasibility and effectiveness of Lactobacillus Complex Capsules in the treatment of diarrhea predominant irritable bowel syndrome(IBS).MethodsAltogether 105 cases of patients with diarrhea predominant IBS who were treated in our hospital from July 2015 to December 2016 were selected as the subject of this observation and divided into two groups according to clinical treatment,including 51 cases in the control group(treated with medications Berberine hydrochloride+Montmorillonite powder)and 54 cases in the study group(Lactobacillus Complex Capsules+Montmorillonite powder+Berberine hydrochloride).The improved time of diarrhea,abdominal distension and abdominal pain symptoms was compared statistically;assessment of two groups of IBS treatment,medication adverse events recorded during treatment,follow-up recurrence 6 months the number of disease statistics.Resultsthe cure rate and the recurrence rate was 96.3%,5.5%,84.3%in the control group,15.7%group comparison study group treatment effect,low recurrence rate,the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05);adverse event statistics,the study group the incidence rate was 11.1%compared with the control group 7.8%,the difference was not statistically significant(P＞0.05);the study group diarrhea,abdominal distension,abdominal pain symptoms improved with time was shorter than the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).ConclusionThe clinical use of Lactobacillus Complex Capsules in the treatment of diarrhea type IBS patients is good,the disease recurrence rate is low,the symptoms are improved and the time is short.
