Abstract:Objective To explore the application value of continuous quality improvement in hospital infection management. Methods Eighty-two patients admitted to our hospital from January 2015 to November 2017 were enrolled in the study. They were randomly divided into control group (n=41) and observation group (n=41).The control group was given routine management, and the observation group was given continuous quality improvement. The satisfaction, management quality and total infection rate of the two groups were compared. Results The total satisfaction of the observation group with hospital infection management (97.6%) was higher than that of the control group (78.0%),and the total incidence of infection (4.8%) was lower than that of the control group (24.4%),with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).The scores of disinfection and isolation, hand hygiene, medical guidance and supervision in the observation group were all higher than those in the control group, with statistically significant differences (P<0.05).The total score of management quality in the observation group was (91.1±2.1) points, which was higher than that in the control group of (74.9±2.1) points, with statistically significant difference (P<0.05).Conclusion Continuous quality improvement can improve the satisfaction of hospitalized patients and the quality of management work, and can also reduce the risk of hospital infection, and its application value is high.
