Abstract:[Abstract]Objective To explore the effect of mode of human occupation (MOHO)on psychological resilience and social function of patients with schizophrenia. Methods A total of 80 patients with schizophrenia who were admitted to our hospital from January 2017 to January 2018 were selected as the research subjects and they were divided into the research group and the control group according to the random number table method,40 cases in each group. The control group was treated with medicine and general work and amusement therapy, and the research group was given the medicine and MOHO therapy. The positive and negative symptom scale (PANSS),the adult mental rehabilitation force scale(RSA),and the social function deficit screening scale(SDSS)were used to evaluate patients of the two groups before treatment and 6 months after treatment. Results There were no significant differences in PANSS scores between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05).The total scores of PNASS,positive symptoms, negative symptoms and general pathological scores of the two groups after treatment were lower than those before treatment, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The total scores of PNASS,negative symptoms and general pathological scores in the research group after treatment were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).There were no significant differences in RSA scores between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05).The RSA scores of the patients in the research group after treatment were significantly higher than those before treatment and in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).There were no significant differences in the SDSS scores between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05).The SDSS scores of the two groups after treatment were significantly lower than those before treatment, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).The SDSS score after treatment in the research group was lower than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion MOHO can improve the psychological resilience and social function of schizophrenia patients, which is better than general work and amusement therapy. It has positive effect on the patients′recovery and returning to society, which is worthy of promotion and application.
