Abstract:Objective To compare the effects of continuous nutritional support and nutritional support taken at a draught in critically ill patients.Methods Seventy critically ill patients admitted to our hospital from February 2017 to February 2018 were selected as subjects.They were divided into continuous group and draught group according to the randomization method,with 35 cases in each group.In the continuous group,continuous enteral nutrient solution for nutritional support was used,and in the draught group,enteral nutrition solution taken at a draught was adopted.The therapeutic effect of the two groups were compared.Results The pre-albumin (PA),hemoglobin (Hb)and albumin(ALB)in the continuous group were all higher than those in the draught group,with statistical significance (P<0.05).There was no significant difference in incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).There was no significant difference in the percentage of IgA,IgG,IgM or lymphocytes between the two groups(P>0.05).The duration of mechanical ventilation and the intensive care unit(ICU)stay in the continuous group were both shorter than those in the draught group,with significant differences (P<0.05).Conclusion For critically ill patients,continuous nutritional support is beneficial for patients′application status improvement,pstoperative hospital stay shortening,effective promotion for the recovery of the body,and non-increase of adverse reactions,which has a high application value.
